Stunning decoration, quirky and really comfortable beds. Roof terrace is fantastic. We met the owner who was really pleasant and friendly. We chose to eat at the Hotel and the evening meal was delicious.
We telephoned the night before to arrange collection from the airport. The person who answered wrote the pick up time down wrong and we had no-one to collect us. We had to wait for an hour in total. I would recommend Email to arrange this to avoid confusion for others staying here.
An oasis of calm in the middle of a busy city. Having lashed on a thick layer of sun cream and ridden a Royal enfield from Delhi I had no idea how filthy I looked when I rocked up to the Reception. The shower worked wonders. Staff and Restraunt could not have been more helpful.
The building was quirky, but thoroughly functional and enjoyable.
The dining room was impressive, but the food did not always live up to the surroundings.
The place is really quiet, building is wonderfull and the rooms have all comfort expected.
Just the buffet sould be a little bit improved ...
Its a beautiful mansion. I highly recommend that this is the place to stay in Jaipur. Great value for money!
The fact that you get to experience heritage
Very nice & authentic hotel. Pleasure personal, good restaurant. You can imagine that you are member of Maharaja family. This is really amazing part of India
Massage is not so good, as i want)
The decor, setting. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and I'm glad we chose it.
It is very beautifull and unique design. Very luxurious feel - you are almost brought back to the old days and lifestyle of raja'S. Top terrace has nice views, a lot of authentic details of local design. Swimming pool gorgeous and not too cold. Would have loved to stay there for a week. Good kitchen. Ask for rooms at the top terrace. Its an oasis after noise and crazy traffic of Jaipur. If yoy have a driver, the location is perfect. About 6 min drive from Pink City.
Staff at reception not friendly, although accomodating. But did not feel to wellcome when we arrived. But in general, service was good.
Central location in the middle of bustling Jaipur, but within the walls very little /no disturbance, great ambience Ideal if you want be close to the heart of local life. It has a lot of old charm, but the old, ill fitting wooden doors and windows etc. may not be to everyone's liking. Facilities including airconditioning in the room are adequate. Good restaurant.
We could not get the mixer in the shower to work in spite of a visit from the plumber, too hot or too cold!
This hotel is stunning! 150 years old with all the decor of the Palace it once was.Bedroom beautiful, clean and large.with 4 poster bed. We had a room on the first floor with 3 small balconies and view of the garden. Lots of lovely area to chill , garden also lovely. Restaurant stunningly beautiful.and waiter service very attentive.
The pool area could have been a bit tidier and cleaner. Disappointed with the pool as dozens of pigeons were using it to bathe. I didn't think it would be clean enough with birds constantly bathing in it.
The Alsisar Haveli is a classic heritage style 3-star hotel. It has some very attractive architectural features and was quite comfortable. It was quiet, secure and well serviced by taxis and auto rickshaws.
The checkout process was a bit of an ordeal as it was slow and we had a debate about the application of taxes, as my booking confirmation said taxes were included and the hotel said they were not. We managed to sort it out and I would recommend the hotel to others as it is a beautiful old building that is well appointed. The water supply was inconsistent - the flow was very limited, making showering difficult, and on the second day there was no hot water in our room.
It's a nice place to stay with a good location. Internet access should be free.
The staff was professional but not very friendly.
Very friendly staff( I was ill and they let us stay in a room longer); lovely setting, antique furniture, worth a palace quiet, lovely courtyards with greenery and birds only 100m from busy and noisy road
Noisy ac no telephone to call an international line, even from reception music playing all day long
The hotel was very comfortable and well run. The food was excellent and te service second to none.
